Offer students an unforgettable Summer Abroad Programme at the University of East London (UEL), where technology and accessibility come together in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.

Based in London, this innovative programme explores how engineering, design, and technological applications can be used to advance accessibility and create more inclusive solutions for all.

As cities, systems, and services evolve, there is an increasing need for students in fields such as engineering, architecture, urban planning, computer science, product design, and assistive technology to approach problem-solving through an accessibility-focused lens. Through this programme, students consider how these disciplines can contribute to removing barriers, improving everyday experiences, and designing solutions that better serve diverse communities.

Students earn 8 US credits (40 UK credits) during a unique 2-week course in the UK’s exhilarating capital city, while developing industry-relevant skills aligned with their academic interests and professional goals.

Beyond the classroom, a lively social programme and excursions to some of London’s top attractions help students make the most of their summer abroad. Sunshine may not be guaranteed, but lasting memories certainly are.
