When I entered college, I knew from the beginning I wanted to study abroad. I didn't know where or how it would happen, but I know I had to go and when I found this program it felt like the perfect opportunity had come. So, despite never travelling alone before or knowing any French I got on the plane, and I went. What an amazing decision that turned out to be! I still can't believe all of the amazing places I've been, things I've done, and all the wonderful people I met. I will treasure this summer for my entire life, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to go abroad.

I was seeking an Internship abroad to enhance my CV and discover a new country, but then due to the pandemic, I decided to opt for a Virtual Internship. After applying, I worked from home in Italy, but with Learn International it was like being in Ireland thanks to all the cultural tips received! All in all, it was a really enjoyable, challenging, and professional experience. I had the opportunity to work in a friendly and flexible context, and I feel to have learned a lot. Surely I'll soon go to Ireland in person soon to meet the Learn International team!

I think the most meaningful part of my program was getting to fully experience and become immersed in a new culture. Since being back home, it has been really cool to explain to friends and family what it was like to live and work in Dublin rather than simply visiting it. I was able to experience a new way of life and I believe that my view on the world and people I interact with has been changed because of it. It was truly so special to live in an entirely different culture from mine and I'm thankful for it.

I went on the Dublin Internship Program in the summer and it was the best experience of my life. Learn international did a thorough job pairing my interests and studies with a good company. At my internship I was able to learn new skills as well as hone skills from my studies in a professional work environment. The process of coming to Ireland was nerve-wracking with all the uncertainty, but Learn International held my hand through all of it. The excursions they organized for my program helped me learn a lot about Irish culture and history and were just very fun overall. The homestays helpmed me feel very immersed in the day-to-day as a Dublin citizen would. Ireland really feels like a home away from home to me now. The experiences with Learn International helped me have the confidence and knowledge to go solo travelling around Europe afterwards. This truly was the most valuable and precious time in my life so far, and it's going to be hard to top.

This experience definitely challenged me in new ways that pushed me to grow, and for that I am grateful. Their lovely staff made the transition to virtual work smooth and simple. Overall, the program truly prepares you for what is to come.

It always feels good getting more responsibility but you have to learn how to divide your time or designate days of the week for specific projects. Learning how to prioritize and organize is a key skill when working in an office setting or in any type of job really. Another skill I am learning here is how to make a grand cup of tea!”
