"Due to Covid-19, my internship changed from in-person to remote. I was able to view this opportunity through a completely new lens than my original internship plan. My remote internship placement has created opportunities I never knew could exist. My supervisors and I group video call at the start of every morning to catch up and discuss our daily tasks. "This has been such an incredible experience for me. At first, I knew nothing about what a virtual internship entails, but in the end, I learned quite a bit from it. The company that I worked for is Ginza Hub, which is not really a ‘company’ but rather a cooperative consultancy for aspiring entrepreneurs. Intern Requirements:

Ability to stay on-task with remote supervision
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to work within different time zones' business hours and be punctual
Reliable, high-speed Internet
Personal laptop/computer with functional webcam, speakers and microphone (webchat headset preferred)

Costs

We’re small, which helps us keep our fees competitive despite the fully customised programme we offer each student.

There’s an application fee of €95, which is non-refundable.
Programme fee: €1840.00 for all placements regardless of duration
3-credit course and academic credit available (8+ weeks; extra fee)

Laptop/computer, webcam, internet access, headphones with microphone, etc. are not included and must be supplied by the participant.

Scholarships

We offer scholarships up to €400 off the programme price. You can apply for a scholarship within our online application. They are competitive, so act quickly!

Scholarship applications can be submitted as part of the general internship application. You must have a 3.0 GPA to apply. The scholarship section has two parts: a one-page essay about how the placement will contribute to your academic and career goals, and a choice of how you might record your internship experience (with a blog and Instagram photos or video blog). All scholarship recipients will be required to fill out a testimonial during their placement. Details about how to complete this testimonial will be provided to you once you’ve begun your programme.
