"My internship with Learn International has truly been the most memorable and wonderful opportunity of my entire life. Through first-hand experience I have seen and learned so much about my dream career. I've met and worked for/with brilliant people who share the same passions as me. My placements were a perfect fit for me — both the internship placement and my homestay placement seemed perfectly tailored to me and what I wanted to get out of this experience. I could not have asked for a better experience — the people I met, experiences I had, and the things I learned will be memories I will never forget. I would do it all again if I could!"

"My experience interning in Dublin provided me with way more than I could have imagined. Not only was I able to gain experience in industry and explore Ireland, once I got back to the United States it is a great conversation starter with companies. At one point I received 4 interview offers in the same week where each interviewer was excited to hear more about my experience in Dublin. It even helped me secure a summer internship position in November. I also gained a lot of new friends which I still hang out with once we got back to campus. It is a very worthwhile experience!"

"I think the most meaningful part of my program was getting to fully experience and become immersed in a new culture. Since being back home, it has been really cool to explain to friends and family what it was like to live and work in Dublin rather than simply visiting it. I was able to experience a new way of life and I believe that my view on the world and people I interact with has been changed because of it. "It is a difficult time to be a young adult. To be making your tentative first step into the turbulent job market was daunting enough, without an unprecedented global pandemic. Confronted by such circumstances, it’s easy to lose ambition. To feel discouraged, if not downright dissuaded to search for career opportunities.

However, by taking the leap that I did applying to Learn International’s internship program, you will learn that you are not alone – that you will be embraced into a support network more than adequately prepared to meet the challenges faced by an ever-changing world. I can say this because I applied at the beginning of the pandemic. While the world came to a grinding halt, Michelle at Learn International soldiered on – maintaining the company’s initial promise to deliver a quality, in-person internship as a pathway into the job market. I am happy to say they have delivered, as I write 2 years after the fact.

To observe their tenacity when the chips were down should be as good an indicator as any that you will be in capable hands. If they did not give up helping me achieve my ambitions, they will surely not give up on yours."
